The Cross stands for salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12)
