The Bridgton Alliance Church Welcomes You!

The Bridgton Alliance Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, a fast-growing evangelical denomination of some 2,000 churches in North America. The C & MA was born in 1887 as an "alliance of people for worldwide outreach . . . to tell men and women everywhere the Good News of Jesus Christ."

We are Christian because we believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are Missionary because we are committed to reaching people worldwide with the gospel. We are an Alliance of believers working together to help each other and make our world a better place to live.

Today, the C & MA is working in over 60 countries with over 1200 missionaries helping to minister to an overseas membership of two million people.

The Bridgton Alliance Church was founded in 1965 by Rev. Martin Smith, upon whose heart God placed a burden and a vision for the people of the Lakes Region area of Maine.

Our Pastor is Rev. J. Edward Boon who with his wife Karen and children Chantel and David moved to Bridgton in the summer of 2000 following 30 years of work on the missions field, most recently in France.

I want to thank you for tuning in to the web page of the Bridgton Alliance Church.  I have the privilege of serving here as the full time pastor. I have sensed God's leading and working in the local church and would invite you to be a part of what God is doing. Please click on the C & MA link at the left to learn what God is doing through the Christian and Missionary Alliance around the world. Click on the Pastor's Pen link to read a new article that I'll be writing each month. Thank you for your interest in this ministry.

Yours in Christ, Pastor Ed Boon.
