Debbie Dean began her ministry as our full time Director of Discipleship on July 1, 2001. She is no stranger to New England. Originally from Attleboro, MA, her home church is the Attleboro Alliance Church.
Debbie did her undergraduate studies at Gordon College where she received a BA in Psychology. Her Master of Divinity degree is from the Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. While at ATS she studied both Christian Education and Counseling. Her seminary internship was served at the Attleboro Alliance Church. Debbie completed all of the work required for her Consecration with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. She was formally Consecrated on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
All of Debbie’s studies and training led her in our direction and prepared her for the task of overseeing our Disciplemaking Ministries (formerly Christian Ed). The Disciplemaking ministries find her involved with everyone from the youngest in our nursery to the oldest of our seniors. Our discipling programs comprises all of the teaching ministries of the church including the Bible Discovery Zone, women’s and men’s teaching ministries, weekday kid’s clubs like AWANA, youth ministries, missionary ministries, M.O.P.S etc. This is a big program to head up, but Debbie is fully qualified to handle it.
