Mission Statements and Vision

The Christian and Missionary Alliance emphasizes the need for genuine spiritual conversion to Christ, a Spirit-filled life, and effective service.

The C&MA Mission Statement

Our mission is to know Jesus Christ; exalt Him as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King; and complete His Great Commission:

  • Evangelizing and discipling persons throughout the United States, and

  • Incorporating them into Christ-centered, community-focused congregations,

  • Mobilizing them for active involvement in a missionary effort designed to plant Great Commission churches among both unreached and responsive peoples worldwide.

The Bridgton Alliance Church Mission Statement

Our mission is to be an evangelical C&MA church meeting the needs of the greater Bridgton area of Maine . . .

  • By conveying the message of the gospel in a relevant contemporary manner in order to make disciples for Christ.

  • By ministering to the needs of the church body in a Biblically based atmosphere of prayer, genuine love, acceptance, accountability and forgiveness.

  • By equipping individuals for ministry by helping them determine their spiritual gifts and abilities and by encouraging and providing training in the use of those gifts.

  • By ministering to the needs of the community at large by being an active praying, caring and sharing part of that community.

  • By promoting a personal awareness of the spiritual and physical needs throughout New England and globally by participation in and support of the worldwide missions outreach of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
